Terms of Service

Last updated 24 August 2026 · applies to the LineSe mobile app and linese.co.in

Draft — not yet reviewed by a lawyer. This page was written from how the LineSe app actually behaves, but it has not been checked against the DPDP Act 2023, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules or your payment processor’s terms. Have it reviewed, replace every highlighted placeholder, then delete this notice.

Who we are

LineSe is operated by Blupaani Ventures Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Using the app means accepting these terms.

What LineSe is — and is not

LineSe shows wait times, sells darshan passes and plans routes across participating Ganeshotsav mandals. We are not the mandal. Each mandal runs its own darshan, sets its own timings and decides who enters its lanes. Listings are shown in association with their respective mandals.

Your account

An account is required to use LineSe — there is no browsing without one. You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password sent to it by SMS; that is the only sign-in method. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you, so keep access to that number secure. A pass in a name that does not match can be refused at the gate.

Wait times are estimates

Wait times are produced automatically from a live camera feed that each participating mandal provides of its own darshan queue. They are our best available estimate, not a commitment: a feed can drop, a crowd can surge, and a lane can be held for an aarti without warning. Plan with them; do not rely on them absolutely.

Darshan passes

  • Valid at one mandal, for the two-hour window shown on the pass.
  • Admits the number of people stated, entering together.
  • Scans once. Screenshots, forwarded images and duplicates are rejected.
  • Gives priority-lane access. It does not guarantee a darshan time, and does not override the mandal, an aarti, or a decision by the police or the committee.
  • Not transferable and not for resale.

Payments and refunds

  • Prices are in Indian Rupees, inclusive of applicable taxes, and are shown before you pay.
  • Payment is taken by our payment partner. LineSe does not receive or store card numbers, UPI PINs or bank credentials.
  • A failed payment is reversed by your bank. A duplicate charge is refunded — send us both references.
  • A pass that expires unused is not refunded, because the slot was held for you.
  • If a mandal cancels, closes a lane or cannot honour a pass within its window, we refund it.
  • Refunds return to the method you paid with; how quickly they land depends on your bank.

How you may use LineSe

Do not resell passes, automate bookings, interfere with the service or misrepresent who you are. We may suspend an account that does. Follow the mandal’s and the volunteers’ instructions once you are in the lane.

Availability and liability

We work to keep LineSe running through the festival but do not promise uninterrupted service; every mandal keeps its ordinary free queue open regardless. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for a mandal’s decisions, crowd conditions, or losses arising from a wait-time estimate. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

Material changes are notified in the app before they take effect, and the date above changes.
